Shikhar Kumar
Open to work, full time
I'm doing my PGDM at Great Lakes Gurgaon and I lead MarQuest, the college's marketing club, as President. Before this I ran operations for a 50-bed hospital, closed a sales stint worth more than eighteen lakh rupees in three months, and started and led an open-source Telegram bot that reached twenty million people. I like fixing things that waste people's time, whether that's a manual attendance register or a ten-minute call log.
I build the systems that take the busywork out of business.

* Where I've worked, and what I did there

INME Learning
Sales & Business Development Intern
INTERNSHIP
Apr 2026 - Jun 2026 · 3m
- Closed 22 enrolments worth 18 lakh+ in booked revenue from 2,500+ outbound calls, going from my first close in week 4 to a peak of nine in week 7, twice named Top Performer of the Week with a company record of 146 connects in a day and 28,000 rupees in performance rewards
- Built a four-step sales cadence, first call, same-day WhatsApp, camp comparison, timed closing call, tailored by region and by whether the family was new or returning, and handled the three recurring objections of safety, price and readiness head-on
- Built the Inme Suite, a set of browser tools including a WhatsApp sender, a CRM log filler, a participant finder and an ID card generator, cutting per-call admin about 20x and saving the team 3 to 4 hours a day, still in use after I left
- The ID card generator alone took the manual process of making ID cards for every child going on camp from 2 to 3 hours down to about 5 minutes
- Ran a 235-response post-camp parent survey analysed in SPSS with NPS, correlation, ANOVA, t-test and chi-square, coming back with a Net Promoter Score of +92, a 9.5/10 experience rating, and confirmation that 58 percent of families arrive through referrals
- Built a pitch matrix and 3 buyer personas from ad demographic data, pinpointing the mother aged 35 to 44 as the parent who most often makes the booking decision
- Worked ground operations on camp travel days, running the airport check-in desk and coordinating with parents, sometimes on duty as late as 2 to 3am for arrivals and 10pm for departures

Vikalp Hospital
Operations Manager
FULL-TIME
Apr 2024 - May 2025 · 1y 2m
- Ran full day-to-day operations for what was then a 50-bed hospital, now grown to about 75 beds, covering everything from OPD to surgery scheduling
- Evaluated proposals from multiple vendors and selected the hospital's medical history (EMR) system, negotiating on pricing and the feature set
- Owned maintenance and vendor management end to end, from security staff to machinery to medicine and equipment suppliers, with final sign-off on every vendor application
- Replaced the paper attendance register with a live online system with an 11am cutoff, closing a proxy-marking loophole and giving leadership real-time visibility into attendance and duty rosters for 30+ staff
- Planned rosters and operation theatre schedules on top of that attendance and footfall data, cutting workflow delays by about 15 percent
- Built an AWS-based SMS alert system that notified staff automatically whenever their duty assignment changed, useful for last-minute surgery staffing
- Managed staff appraisals, had a say in hiring for desk, supervisory and support roles, and coordinated facility fixes including a recurring drainage issue at the hospital entrance
